The Norton & Elaine Sarnoff Center for Jewish Genetics is an educational resource on recessive genetic disorders and hereditary cancers that are more common in people of Jewish ancestry. The Sarnoff Center also offers an affordable, convenient carrier screening program for people of Jewish ancestry and their partners in Illinois.
On Tuesday, May 8 from 9-10 am CDT, the Sarnoff Center will be offering a webinar for clergy. The Sarnoff Center's genetic counselor and Rabbi Melman of Congregation Beth Shalom in Northbrook will present on Everything You Need to Know About Jewish Genetics (But Are Afraid to Ask). We aim to give clergy the tools to have conversations with their communities and constituents about genetic health topics. Please fill out this form to register for the webinar.
The registration includes an optional survey that will take less than 5 minutes to complete. If you have questions at any time about the webinar or the survey, you may contact Becca Bakal at 312-357-4717 or by email at RebeccaBakal@juf.org. Thank you very much for your time.
